Kawasaki Z1 900 vs Honda CB750 Four
Few motorcycles have had a bigger impact on motorcycling than these two Japanese legends.
The Honda CB750 Four arrived first and completely changed expectations. Smooth, reliable and packed with technology, it showed the world that a high-performance motorcycle could also be practical and dependable.
A few years later, Kawasaki answered with the Z1 900. Bigger, faster and more powerful, it took the superbike concept to the next level and quickly became one of the most desirable motorcycles of the 1970s.
The CB750 Four is often credited with starting the superbike era. The Z1 900 is remembered for raising the bar and becoming the motorcycle every performance rider wanted.
Today both are among the most collectable Japanese classics ever built.
