What is a Q registration number?

A Q registration number is normally issued when the age or identity of a vehicle cannot be established to the DVLA's satisfaction.
Unlike an age-related registration number, a Q registration does not indicate the year of manufacture.
For imported motorcycles, providing suitable evidence of age can often be important during the registration process.
Every motorcycle is different and the registration issued will depend on the information and supporting evidence available.
