Did You Know The Kawasaki H2 750 Was Nicknamed The Widowmaker
When Kawasaki launched the H2 750 Mach IV in 1972, it quickly gained a reputation as one of the wildest motorcycles on the road.
Powered by a 748cc two-stroke triple-cylinder engine, the H2 produced explosive acceleration that could embarrass much larger motorcycles of the era. Riders loved the incredible straight-line performance, but the chassis and suspension technology of the day struggled to keep up with the engine's power.
Its fearsome reputation led many enthusiasts to nickname it "The Widowmaker" – a title that has followed the bike ever since.
Today the Kawasaki H2 750 is one of the most sought-after classic Japanese motorcycles, admired for its brutal power delivery, distinctive exhaust note and unforgettable character.
Have you ever ridden an H2, or is it a bike you've only heard stories about?
