The Motorcycle That Still Had A Service Tag
Every now and then a motorcycle arrives with a little piece of its history still attached.
We've seen bikes arrive from America with old service tags hanging from the handlebars, reminders tucked under the seat, oil change stickers on the fork leg, and notes written years ago by a previous owner.
These small details might not seem important, but they can tell part of the story. They show that at some point someone cared enough to maintain the bike, ride it, and keep it going.
Sometimes a faded service tag is the last clue to when the motorcycle was last on the road before spending years tucked away in a garage, shed or storage unit.
It's amazing how often a forgotten motorcycle arrives carrying tiny reminders of the life it lived before becoming a barn find.
