What makes a classic motorcycle original?
The word "original" is often used when describing classic motorcycles, but what does it actually mean?
Generally, enthusiasts use the term to describe a motorcycle that still retains many of the parts, finishes and features it left the factory with.
Original paint, original components and an unmodified appearance can all add to a motorcycle's appeal.
That doesn't mean a motorcycle has to be perfect.
Many enthusiasts appreciate the wear, patina and character that develops over decades of use.
Every motorcycle is different, which is part of what makes classic bikes so interesting.
