1970s Honda CB750 Valuation Report

Date: August 2025

Historical Overview

Launched in the UK in 1969, the CB750’s 736 cc SOHC four, electric start and front disc brake set the superbike template. Early K0 “sandcast” (1969–70) and very early die-cast K0/K1 machines carry a premium; later K2–K6 (1972–76) and F1/F2 Super Sport (1975–78) are more attainable but still sought after as usable classics.

Value Influencing Factors

Conclusion

In the UK, early K0–K1 CB750s trade well above later models: running examples typically realise £11.5k–£19.1k, with the best restored/original bikes around £17k–£20k. Later K2–K6 & F-series offer more accessible ownership: riders commonly achieve £3.45k–£4.5k, with strong restorations around £5k–£7k. Correctness, matching numbers and complete OEM parts push any example to the top of its band.
