The Laverda 1000 Jota (981 cc triple) became a UK legend in the late 1970s—thanks in no small part to Slater Bros—combining a raucous 180° crank, big torque and endurance-race attitude. Early UK-market examples and bikes with Slater correspondence remain especially desirable.
Condition | Estimated Value (GBP) | Example External Source (non-link reference) |

Notes: Values above reflect verified UK hammer prices and current classified asks. 1970s UK-market 180° bikes with Slater documentation can command a premium within the top band. Later 120° Jotas (early ’80s) transact in a similar corridor but are outside this 1970s-focused report.
In the UK during 2025, 1970s Jota 180s typically trade around £7.5k–£10k for usable riders, with projects £4.5k–£6.5k and restored/excellent examples £10.5k–£14.5k. Exceptional UK-supplied bikes with Slater provenance can exceed the top band.
