Launched in 1999, the GSX1300R Hayabusa became the world’s fastest production motorcycle with its 1298 cc inline-four, aerodynamic design, and 194 mph top speed. Early “K1” crate-stock homologation models (approx. 500 built) are exceptionally rare and highly valued by collectors in the UK.

Notes: These values are based on verified UK sold prices. The K1 crate-stock variants typically attract collectors’ premiums. Listings on AutoTrader, Car & Classic, and private eBay sales inform the ranges. “New old stock” results like the £18,400 H&H sale are exceptional outliers but real.
Standard first-generation Hayabusas in presentable condition generally trade between £5k and £7k, with well-preserved or low-mile restorations reaching £7k–10k. Collectors’ K1 crate-stock machines command substantially more, typically achieving £10k–15k in good condition—and exceptional examples have realised up to £18.4k.
