The Suzuki TL1000S (1997–2001) and TL1000R (1998–2003) were V-twin superbikes developed to challenge Ducati’s dominance. The TL1000S gained notoriety for its rotary rear damper, while the TL1000R was a fully-faired, track-oriented version. In the UK both models now enjoy cult status, with prices rising as interest in 1990s superbikes grows.

Notes: The TL1000S is slightly more affordable, while the TL1000R attracts stronger collector interest as the rarer, race-focused model. Unmodified bikes with OEM exhausts and bodywork are climbing fastest. Streetfighter conversions and heavy mods reduce value substantially.
As of September 2025, UK Suzuki TL1000S values range from £1.8–2.8k (projects), £3.2–4.5k (roadworthy), and £5–6.5k (restored/excellent). TL1000R values run higher at £2.2–3.2k (projects), £3.8–5.5k (roadworthy), and £6–8k (excellent/collector-grade). Collectors increasingly prize originality and provenance in both models.
