Introduced in 2001, the Suzuki GSX-R1000 (988 cc) redefined liter-class sportbikes with race-derived performance and lightweight chassis. The K1 and K2 models are highly regarded for their raw performance and first-gen appeal. Later K3 and K4 versions (2003–2004) added refinement and reliability improvements.
