Did You Know The Brough Superior Was Known As The Rolls-Royce Of Motorcycles
Long before superbikes and luxury touring motorcycles existed, one machine stood above almost everything else.
The Brough Superior.
Built in Nottingham, England, Brough Superior motorcycles earned a reputation for exceptional quality, performance and craftsmanship. Every motorcycle was assembled to extremely high standards and road tested before delivery.
Company founder George Brough famously described his machines as the "Rolls-Royce of Motorcycles", and remarkably, Rolls-Royce themselves allowed the comparison.
The motorcycles were expensive, exclusive and often owned by wealthy enthusiasts, celebrities and adventurers. Perhaps the most famous owner was T. E. Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia, who owned several Brough Superiors.
Today, original Brough Superiors are among the most valuable and collectible motorcycles in the world.
If money was no object, would a Brough Superior make it into your dream collection?
