Introduced in late 1964 and produced only until 1965, the Lightning Clubman (A65LC) was BSA’s homologation special—with only around 200 produced. Its racing kit included clip-on bars, rear-set footrests, close-ratio gearbox, dual Amals, alloy rims, and distinctive gold-and-black paint. A celebrated icon, it has become one of the most collectible BSA models.

Restored, matching-numbers examples with strong provenance can reach £12k–£15k+, while replicas or project candidates are valued in the £3.5k–£6k range.
